Agents check it, tenants dread it, and it's one of the most common reasons an inspection gets knocked back. We get it to inspection standard.
Why the oven
It's the one thing they always open.
Bond inspections move fast, but the oven door gets opened every time. It's visible, it's objective, and it's the easiest thing on the list for an agent to point at.
It's also the job most people underestimate. A few hours with supermarket spray usually gets the door looking better and leaves the roof, the back and the racks exactly as they were — which is where an agent looks second.
The maths on it
An oven clean costs less than most bond deductions for a dirty oven, and far less than being called back to the property to redo it after you've already handed the keys over.
What we clean for an inspection
To the standard they're checking against.
- Oven interior — roof, back, sides and base
- Racks and trays, done separately
- Door glass, including between the panes where possible
- Seals, trim and door frame
- Cooktop and rangehood filters, if you add them
Add the cooktop and rangehood and you've covered the three things most commonly listed on an exit report.

Getting the timing right.
When should I book it?
As close to your final inspection as you can manage. An oven cleaned three weeks and a dozen roast dinners ago doesn't help you on inspection day.
How much is it?
From $145 for a standard 60cm oven. Larger and double ovens are quoted on size — ring with the make and you'll get a firm number. See the pricing page for the full picture.
Can you do the cooktop and rangehood as well?
Yes, and for an exit clean it's worth doing all three together — they tend to be listed on the same report.
Do you clean rental properties between tenants?
Yes. If you're a property manager or landlord, ring and we'll sort a price for the turnaround.
Will it definitely pass?
We clean it to inspection standard, but the call is the agent's, not ours — nobody can honestly promise you a pass. What we can tell you is that the oven won't be the reason it fails.
