The price is the price.
Most oven cleaners won't give you a number until they're standing in your kitchen. Here's ours, before you ring.
Single oven — 60cm
The standard household oven. Interior, racks, trays and door glass.
Larger & double ovens
900mm, wall ovens and doubles — priced on size and condition.
Cooktop
Gas burners and trivets, or ceramic and electric tops.
Rangehood
Filters and housing degreased.
BBQ
Plates, grills, flame tamers and fat tray.
Card facilities available. Ring with the make and size and you'll get a firm number before we come out — not a range, and not a figure that changes once we're there.
What changes the price
Size first, condition second.
The biggest factor is simply how big the oven is — a 900mm or a double takes roughly twice the work of a standard 60cm.
Condition matters less than people expect. An oven that hasn't been touched in five years takes longer, but it's rarely the difference people brace themselves for. Tell us honestly when you ring and it's priced in from the start.
Why we quote on the phone
So the number doesn't move.
The alternative — turning up, having a look and then naming a price — puts you in a position where saying no is awkward. We'd rather tell you on the phone and let you decide with no one standing in your kitchen.
If something genuinely isn't what was described, we'll say so before starting rather than after finishing.
Questions about cost
The honest answers.
Why is the price higher than the cheapest quote I've found?
Some quotes cover the door and the front of the oven only. Ours covers the interior, the racks, the trays and the glass. Worth checking what's actually included before comparing the numbers.
Is there a call-out fee on top?
No. The number you're quoted is the number.
Do you charge more for a really dirty oven?
Size drives the price far more than condition. If something is genuinely exceptional we'll tell you on the phone, not on the day.
Can I pay by card?
Yes — card facilities are available.
Do you do multiple ovens or properties?
Yes. If you've got several — a rental portfolio, or a house with two ovens — ring and we'll work out a price for the lot.
